Within the EU, so-called supplier’s declarations are used to prove the origin of goods. To make out these correctly, the supplier should have knowledge of the rules of origin. Suppliers play a key role in the use of the EU’s free trade agreements, and customers rely on supplier’s declarations. In this training, we will cover, among other things, which supporting documents you need for your supplier’s declarations and explain what it means to state that goods originate in the EU. This training is for those who want to learn how to correctly make out supplier’s declarations. It is primarily intended for companies that act as traders– for companies that manufacture originating goods, we recommend our training on Rules of Origin, where we go deeper into the product-specific and general rules of origin that a manufacturer needs to be aware of.
