Humlab together with WARA Media & Language, part of the WASP research program, welcomes researchers, instructors, and graduate students to Umeå University to explore research opportunities around avatars and conversational AI. The workshop will include a demonstration of an experimental avatar framework, opportunities to test and interact with the avatar, and time to discuss potential research projects that make use of the technology. This is relevant for anyone interested in AI ethics, cognitive science, educational innovation, or immersive media.
